Actress Liz Sheridan, best known to TV audiences as Jerry Seinfeld's mother 'Helen' in his long-running comedy 'Seinfeld', has passed away from natural causes. She just turned 93 five days ago.
Before she hit it big with television in the 80s (a recurring character on 'Alf'
she appeared in a number of Broadway musicals in the 70s, starting in 1971. In 1977, she starred opposite Meryl Streep in the musical 'Happy End' for a three month run. From there, she was part of the cast of 'Ballroom' in 1978, and the comedy 'Once a Catholic' in 1979.
