I just saw Ad-Liberty w/ Johnny T last night at Joe's Pub - I had a fantastic time! Jenniffer Barnhart was also there as backup, it was great to hear her sing and see her really let loose!
Initially, I was extremely upset when John left the cast of Ave Q, but I must say this was a great career move for him, it was so refreshing to see him in something else, especially his own show! He's so talented and witty, I haven't had such fun in ages!
I also spotted Barrett Foa in the audience, and Bob from Sesame Street (didn't know who Bob was, but other people were freaking out).
What did you guys think of the show?
I wanted to go to this, but I couldn't get tickets.
Glad he was great, though. Oh, and I love Bob!
I just ADORE him!!
Last night was my first time seeing the show and I thought that he was wonderful! I laughed so much and was really excited to see him in something other than "Avenue Q" (although I LOVED him in it!). I am so excited to hear more about this mysterious big new project he has in the works!!

It was so incredible. John has so much talent, its scary. Him singing "Taylor the Latte Boy" was so awesome. I hope he does another show, I will definately be there!
He sang Taylor?!?!!
Brilliant.
I was there last night. It was my second time and I still loved it! Me and my friends were sitting at the table next to Barret. I loved meeting John after the show because he is just one of the best people ever. I overheard Jenniffer Barnhart saying that last night was their last Joe's Pub show and the she had just found out from the management. Johnny wouldn't announce his big news, but his bio in the 'Pub Bill' said he is developing a show with the Disney Channel. cool stuff-too bad I don't get Disney...

itstheM, I'm just curious, is the show always exactly the same? Does he sing diff songs, or is it always the same lineup?
A lot of the songs were the same as the first time. In September he had a skit with diary about his experiences with Republicans because it was right after the convention. The show was pretty much the same, there might have been one new song.
