He was asked about it while on tour recently and denied that he was doing the movie. It's listed as only a rumor on IMDb, so maybe it was a posibility for a while.

does anyone know what he's doing next? i wonder how "successful" his tour was; i hope record sales jumped.

More touring in the fall, recording a third album (due out around Christmas -- with Larry Edoff, rather than his band) and moving to Los Angeles.
