Since BWW just made it a headline, I figured that it deserves its own thread.
I was an extra in a scene along with seven other girls (we were instructed to run up to "Bobby Starr" - Adam - and get his autograph), and I can definitely say that the crew seems quite positive about the film. Sure, it's not going to get nominated for any Oscars, but it looks like it might end up being quite fun. Yes, I realize the title is going to get a lot of snickers, but I'm willing to give it a chance. They're looking to screen it at Sundance.

I was told on set that they're aiming for PG-13, so I think that would be a no.

Posted: 11/29/06 at 3:54pmI'd also like to take a moment to mention that Pascal was a complete and total pleasure to work with. I know some cynics will probably just figure that I'm saying that because I'm a fan, or that he was just putting on a show for the small group of girls there, but I had the sense that his kindness was completely genuine. Most of the extras were by no means hardcore fans, so it wasn't as if he felt forced to put on an act for us. One of the crew members mentioned that he seemed very motivated with regards to this project, and I really hope that it has some amount of success.

Posted: 11/29/06 at 4:28pm"Goy" is a Jewish/Yiddish term for a non-Jewish person. It's a joke based on the word "boyband." The character Pascal is playing was in some sort of a boyband at the height of his career. I've also heard his part referred to as that of a former rockstar, so I assume the boyband was a bit ediger than Backstreet Boys? Don't know. Updated On: 11/29/06 at 04:28 PM

It seems like it's a play on "boy band." In Yiddish, forms of the term "goy" signify people (and things) that are distinctly... not Jewish.
