Posted: 1/29/05 at 4:57pmA mullet, then he cuts it off??? Aghhhh! OK now I have to rent this movie to see. And he sings! *faints* (sorry, I've never actually seen him sing, just heard it on a soundtrack)

Posted: 1/29/05 at 4:58pmWell there is no actual SCENE where he cuts it off, one scene it is there, the next it isn't.

Well for the record, back in August it was announced that a musical based on Pink Floyd's The Wall was in the works for the fall of 2005, with original composer Roger Waters working on the book, writing new songs and re-orchestrating the originals. Adam was then quoted around the time of the Hair concert as wanting to do this show.
The question is whether it's actually happening or not, as nothing much has come up about it since. He'll be finished with the movie in June, which seems like plenty of time to rehearse for a fall show.

hm....we've talked about this many times and i actually would really like to see him in it after RENT. Although the part is pretty crappy, at least he can have the experience!
oh and THANK GOD that he's cutting his hair!

Posted: 1/29/05 at 5:05pmthank you luvtheEmcee!!!! *goes to watch and drool* I think Adam and the rest of the OBC should return to the stage for RENT's anniversary and sing so I can go see them all live. I've heard the soundtrack and seen pics but its kind of hard to put those two together and imagine them singing. I notice, however that whenever I see pics of him singing he has his eyes closed really tightly which I love. Does he really do that whenever he sings?

Posted: 1/29/05 at 5:08pmHe used to do it A LOT. I think the RENT casting people got kind of frustrated with it, and got him to do it less. In the early AIDA days, he'd sing TO Heather with his eyes closed. He hardly ever does it on stage anymore in a musical, but a lot when he sings his own stuff.

Posted: 1/29/05 at 5:10pmhe also used to do weird things with his eyebrows during the early AIDA days. but hey, we still love him.

Posted: 1/29/05 at 5:12pmOh, I loved that. He was so consistent that you could literally tell when he was going to raise an eyebrow if you'd seen him more than once.

"oh and THANK GOD that he's cutting his hair!"
Ha that was in regards to School of Rock. He had a mullet in the beginning then at the end it was short. I don't think he has cut his hair yet.

Posted: 1/29/05 at 5:49pmYeah I read about the whole eye-closing thing in the RENT bible and how the producers were trying to make him stop. ^^ But I love it when he does the closed-eye thing. It makes him look like hes so into it.
