Posted: 12/2/13 at 2:24pmI'd say try Joe Allen's. Some people on this board have criticized it, but I think it's a fun place. And most importantly, you can get to see the window cards of Broadway flops down through the years.

It would help if you'd give an idea of what sort of place you like for drinks. There are hundreds of options, most of which don't tie as closely to the theatre theme. Personally, I'd never go to 54 below or joe allens for drinks, but it's hard to give suggestions without knowing what you are after: cheap vs. expensive; lounge-y vs stand up, noisy vs quiet, etc. Also, it'd help to know where you are seeing shows, as a place in the low 50s and west might not be appealing if you are seeing a show in the low 40s and east, or vice versa and etc etc
