After the Night and the Music

Somebody told me that the new Elaine May play, "After the Night and the Music", which doesn't even begin previews at the Biltmore till April 28, is almost completely sold out. How can that be? I know that MTC relies heavily on subscribers, but... Is there any truth to this? I really want to see this show, so if it's true, I'll buy tickets very soon.
