I was reading some comments on "the other" board about agents. I am currently in the middle of searching for one. My question--does anyone actually like their agents? I continually read crummy comments about agents and how they are mean, arrogant, selfish, only out for themsleves, etc. Are there good ones out there?

An agent only gets money if they GET YOU WORK. They are not working against you, they are working FOR you. Find an agent who believes in you. If they don't seem interested in you...dump them.

All my friends in the city get along fine with their agents.

What offcies are your friends with, then? I continually hear horror stories from people I know about their agents. But they are stuck, because they can't afford to not have an agent and it is really hard to find one these days.
