Aida Student Rush

Has the student rush been extra crowded because it's closing soon? I'm thinking about doing student rush sometime real soon.

Yeah, I checked yesterday. It was HORRIBLE. We were there way early and tickets were gone in minutes. I don't recommend it. Buy them in advance.

9 A.M. Very early for student rush.

ive done the student rush thing 3 times. i got there at 7am all three times and was the first person on the line. 9am seems late to me.

I actually was there at 8, and they were gone far before 9. ANd for Aida, that's the suggested time. I've seen Aida rush about 4 times before this closing franticness.

Do you mean there were alreasy enough people by 9am? I thought tickets don't go onsale before 10.

9am seems late - even before Adam came back, I was there at 8am and there were already 5 *groups/couples* in front of me. Go at 7am, or pray for TKTS.

TKTS tickets for Aida are like 60 bucks or something, which isn't THAT bad, so try it. And the student rush wasn't bad at all until the amazing Adam came back. TKTS is a good idea, I did that for the funny "Forbidden Broadway" yesterday and was quite satisfied. Try it.

And, to be honest, you're spending more on TKTS seats, but if you can get orchestra or front mezzanine, the view is probably a LOT better from there. My only gripe with rush seats is that the stage is so elevated that you miss all of the floor and a lot of the back of the stage, so you can't really appreciate the sets and a lot of the choreography as much.

If you're rushing with a friend, I'd recommend having one person camp out at the box office and another one at TKTS.
