My wife and daughter want to see Aladdin next Wednesday for the 1:00pm show. Are there typically long times for a matinee on Wednesday? Should we still show up 2 1./2 hours before the show? Are the chances fairly good at securing these tickets or are we better off trying to buy from TKTS? Thanks!

I've never tried the Aladdin lotto, but as the now extinct Rush Report used to show, it is fairly popular: twenty some tickets available and nearly 100 folks showing up.
As for TKTS, Aladdin never appears on the boards there (it doesn't have to send tickets there). I would highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance.

I have no idea about the specific time but I wouldn't bet on anything with the weather warming up. Yes, show up when they say to because that's when they'll start taking names. Chances are not good. They're not terrible, but the chances that all three of you will get tickets is slim. I will say the names don't get shaken up that much when the thing is full, so maybe try putting your names in a little later.
