That might be the best.title.ever for a one man show. He seriously has to think of a play just for the title alone!

I loved his monologue on that episode, where all of the cast members were annoying him with showtunes.

Aw, Alan! The man who, well, started it all for me! If not for him, I wouldn't have been introduced to Cabaret and the prospect of going to NY all the time. Design for Living= many good times, and close friends. I'd link my site to him, but it's only for those who love old-school Alan. At one time, it was queen of the Alan sites.

He's a guest on the current Graham Norton show and absolutely hysterical. You should see what Graham pulls out of the drawer regarding "Tommy's Tale!" X-Men 3 with him is coming up soon .....

He starred in X-2 - X-Men United" with Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Hally Berry - he played "Nightcrawler" who was a teleporter - he had grayish stuff all over his body and had a tail (lots of hours in makeup)- he was fantastic. And the latest news is X-Men 3 is going to start filming at some point next year (it has a release date of May 6, 2006) - lots of rumors around this including they will film X-3 and X-4 back to back "to make sure Hugh Jackman stays with the franchise" (X-4 is supposedly about Hugh's character Wolverine but everything is rumors at this point). Glad Alan will be in X-3.

Now that I think about it, both big superhero franchises have a bunch of theater actors in them, don't they? Hm.
Alan Cumming was a delight in X2, but my favorite movie performance of his might be in The Anniversay Party.

I LOVE The Anniversay Party.
He's pretty funny to watch in Spy Kids, Goldeneye and Emma too.
But my favorite of his has to be Romy and Michele's HS Reunion.
He is HYSTERICAL. I could watch it again and again.

Oh Anniversary Party....what a cast. My favorite of his honestly has to be Titus, Circle of Friends, and any of his short films that he did in the UK.

I was at a taping of "The Graham Norton Effect" last week (aired Thursday, and may still be repeating) and he was the guest. He is working on turning his novel "Tommy's Tale" into a screenplay.
