I love Alan Cumming! Yay for his return! And WOOHOOO for a 3rd X-men movie, he is a fabulous nightcrawler!

He also disses the director bryan singer in that interview too.

Not really. He said that he thought Bryan was very talented and a good filmmaker, he just didn't enjoy working with him, that's all. I'd hardly call that a diss.
Word. Word, indeed.

Let's hope so. I saw a poster of "Son of the Mask" starring Alan Cumming. It made me sad.

Yeah really, the whole Spy Kids thing and Son of the Mask is almost depressing....a waste of his talent if you ask me

Where did that snippet come from, if I may ask?

Isn't he rumored to be connected to the Roundabout production of "Threepenny Opera" next year (which was, in fact, postponed from this season)? Perhaps that's the Broadway commitment he's referring to.

I'd love to see him back on the stage.
I know I am out of the loop but who is he playing in X-men?

Me too! On the subject of Nightcrawler, there is a documentary in the special features of the 2nd movie of his makeup process. Its really interesting.

hahaha. Dont worry, I didnt recognize him either til I read the credits at the end. Though I love the intricate blue tattoos all over his body.

He was good as Nightcrawler. There are quite a few stage actors in that movie other than Alan - Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellan, Brian Cox, I think Anna Paquin, and of course Hugh J.

This info about Alan and X-3 has been all over the web since everyone is patiently waiting to hear when filming will start, and any X-Men actor they come across usually gets asked the question. Anyway, here's one of the articles (with a picture of Alan as Nightcrawler). It's amazing how many Broadway actors appear in this franchise, as Jo mentioned.
