Alice Ripley in The Fabulous Invalid

Alice Ripley is starring in a re-worked version of the Kaufman and Hart play, "The Fabulous Invalid" at Emerson College in Boston. The rewrite was commissioned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the lovingly restored Majestic Theater.

Alice is very funny as is her co-star Steve Hendricksen of the Guthrie Theater. Hendricksen gets to riff on the past 100 years of theater history in quick cuts towards the end of act two, and it brings the house down.

Tomorrow, the 22nd is the last day the show is up. There are a couple of good Emerson theater students in the cast too.
