Well people i was just watching the video clip on broadway.com and well people this show is going to be AMAZING nothing like good vibrations(FLOP)ALL SHOOK UP is going to be amazing people please please keep it up and keep it going in the theater by going to see it . I already have my date in which im seeing it , now i just have to get my tickets. Heres the link below for the video clip.

i know it's going to be great. it has a fantastic cast. i saw it in CT and it was a great and fun show. i can't wait to see it again.

Honestly, I think Good Vibrations look like it'll be more fun, if only because the cast is bursting with SO much energy.

But it's no secret that Cheyenne Jackson is MUCH better than David Larsen (of Good Vibrations).

I'll probably end up seeing both eventually anyway.

"but i must admit, im not a huge Elvis fan..." ya know what truthfully when I went to see the show in CT I knew like one or two of his songs but now much I'm young and my parents aren't big on Elvis.. but the show is great anyway.. the music really fits into the story.. rather then just some random songs to stick here are there it really helps the story move forward and the arguments are great!

I don't really have to say much more about this show then I already have.. its just a good fun show and I think people really need to just give it a chance I think people will be nicely surprised by it! I really love it... I would dear to say as much as I love Hairspray.. (not arrangement the to just that if you know how much I love hairspray people you should be amazed.. or scared by that comment). Also its not because I happen to be a fan of cast involved in the show... that is why I saw it first but I have been fans of other snd seen shows they are in and just thouhgt... ok I love that person and the show is ok or good... but All Shook up is great!

Thanks for posting that! After seeing the show in CT and now that preview clip, I can't wait to check it out once they have big Broadway costumes and sets. The talent is already fabulous, and I really agree with what Alix Korey said about the songs actually advancing the plot, rather than just "hey, we need a song now" (cough*MammaMia*cough). And I believe it was Cheyenne who commented on the wit in the book...so funny.

Not to mention that Cheyenne, Curtis, and all of the new ensemble members look like great additions since the Goodspeed run!

Ya know, I thought I was the only one excited that Stephen Oremus was involved. Hehe.

It's all about Kenny Brescia. Oh yeah, and that Cheyenne dude =)

Show looks like fun and I've heard good things. Can't wait for this to hit Broadway.

I just got to say that I just watched the Good Vibrations rehearsal video and I had to turn it off. It annoyed me THAT much.

talking about guys involved with this show I think Mark Price is adorable! And he's so great at the role he is playing, very talented boy!

It seems like a lot of the newer musicals coming out are going to be a ton of fun to watch. It looks like the performers are having tons of fun. I think this looks like it has better singers than Good Vibrations. I don't like Elvis as much as everyone else in the world does though...
Is this soundtrack out? dumb question... probably not out for a couple months

basketcase you said you saw it? what is about, i know there are elvis songs but is it like a movin out with lots of dancing and rare speaking and such?
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

kim1061 I have seen the show as well and can answer your question. The show isn't like moving out.. it is an average amount of diolog/musical numbers mix. Also its the characters that sing rather then one person while the rest dance. I don't want to give to much away because there are fun surprises in the show.. that you can kind of get by watching the video but it's still fun to see it happening for the first time rather then reading it. So to quote the reviews; All Shook Up is.."A comedy set in middle America in 1955, All Shook Up, which features a book by Joe DiPietro, is not a biographical revue. In the musical, one girl's wish and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger will lead a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll."-- Broadway.com

thanks! that's what i was looking for, a storyline. all i kept hearing was elvis songs.
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous
