Allegiance - A New Broadway Musical launches its website

Check out the newly launched website for Allegiance - A New Broadway Musical.

Allegiance is an epic story of love, war and heroism set during the Japanese American internment of World War II, following the story of the Omura family in the weeks and years following Pearl Harbor, as they are relocated from their home in Salinas, California to the Heart Mountain internment camp in the wastelands of Wyoming.

Allegiance features Lea Salonga as Gloria Suzuki, George Takei as Old Sam Omura and Telly Leung as young Sam Omura.

Allegiance is set to have its world premiere at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA in July 2012. A Broadway bow is planned in the fall of 2012.

It's "A New American Musical," not "Broadway" Musical, and it's a 2-day workshop with the same folks who did the last workshop. No dates are planned other than the Old Globe perhaps putting it up in the 2012 season depending on how the workshop goes. So to use the "B" word is way premature.
