Allyn Ann McLerie passes at 91

NYT just posted obit. I would have loved to have seen her on stage. I just love her in "Calamity Jane" opposite Doris Day. Her bio is quite extensive; she was/is a wonderful singer/actor. Even from bootleg "Molly Dodd"'s she was so great in that show (with her husband, I think).

She danced under Agnes deMille! I think she's in the Oklahoma ensemble, lots of tv shows, Barbra Streisand must have liked her; she's in "The Way We Were".

I know what I'm watching tonight...

Saw her and husband George in a summer stock production of My Fair Lady back in 1962. They were wonderful.
