Alternating Spider-Mans ?

So I am thinking about seeing Spiderman again while I am in NYC. I want to see Reeve but understand that they alternate Peter Parkers- Jake Epstein is listed as the Alternate. So my question is how does it work? I will be in NYC Aug 7-12- Does anyone know if Reeve will be on during this time? is there an established schedule for which actor goes on when?

The alternate plays the matinee performances. Wednesday afternoons and Saturday afternoons. Right now, it is Jake Epstein. He is in terrific voice and proves he can act. I highly recommend seeing him instead of Reeve...

Reeve looked bored and over-it when the show was still in previews. I would definitely take the alternate several years into the run...

Reeve was excellent when I saw it, much better than the folks on here gave him credit for. I haven't seen Jake, but have heard great things about him.

I saw it with Reeve Carney too, about a year and a half after the show opened. I thought he was great. He has a very unique voice in my opinion (in a good way), and I thought his performance was fantastic for a broadway debut. I am seeing it again at a matinee with some out-of-town guests next week, we will see Jake Epstein. I wouldn't have minded seeing Reeve again at all, but am looking forward to seeing Jake's interpretation of the role as well.

I saw Matthew James Thomas and Reeve Carney. MJT was way better. I'm actually curious about Jake Epstein; I really liked him on the Spring Awakening tour.

I saw the show in August of 2011 and thought Reeve was great. Ive heard great things about his alternate as well.

I also saw Jake in the role about two weeks after he started. I thought he did a great job. I am a big fan of his, and I would love to see him do more roles on Broadway.

Saw the matinee with Jake Epstein (and Kristen Martin as Mary Jane) today. Jake was awesome! He was in great voice, and brought a lot of energy to the show. His Peter Parker felt different from Reeve Carney's, I like both interpretations. I thought Kristen was great too. They were a good pair on stage. (They were also both sweethearts at the stage door) I don't know why they don't just bump Jake up full-time when Reeve leaves. Maybe he has another project he's working on? I hope so, he definitely deserves it.
