Alto/Tenor Duets

This guy is bugging me to do a duet with him at a Church talent night. I keep blowing him off saying that since I sing Alto (1st Alto, 2nd Soprano if the day is good) and he's a Tenor so we'll sound funny and bump into each other. He

However, he's persistent...and I'm a wimp so I'll probably give in eventually.

Can you think of any piece that would sound decent or am I correct in saying we'll sound funny together. I tried to pawn him off on a couple of sopranos but they spun him back in my direction.

He says the piece is my pick.

My pick is to send him packing...

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Unworthy of your Love from Assasins

the male part is really more baritone but a tenor could sing it

Thanks, jcr...

Any last suggestions, anyone? He's going to be at a meeting tomorrow night and I want to give him my selection or prepare a "you'd better plan on doing a solo" speech.

Thanks!

Since it's a church thing...there's an Amy Grant (mezzo) and Vince Gill (tenor) duet - called "House of Love" that's pretty...
