Just curious -

Since Alton Fitzgerald White is replacing Kingsley Leggs as Mister in TCP (I'm so excited...AFW is one of my favorites), does anyone know who is replacing him as Mufasa in The Lion King?

Isn't Rufus on the tour right now? But I know they switch people from the tour and bwy sometimes. That'd be cool.

I don't think Rufus is on the tour anymore, from what I read of the LA cast. I would like to see him on Broadway, as I have never seen him perform the role. It could be someone new too, that's perfectly fine.

Nate Stampley, who left the color purple to join the tour of lion king, will take over the role of mufasa on broadway. Rufus Bond will play the role of mister in the national tour of the color purple opening in Chicago.

Wow that is really funny if Rufus will be once again on tour in a role that Alton is playing on Broadway. I am surprised that he was cast in Color Purple tour already, so far in advance.

is it for sure nathaniel stampley? i hate that disney never updates their broadway websites - the lion king cast listed on the disney broadway website says it was last updated a year ago!
