Don't know if this has been posted already, but I just came home to the sad news that legendary costume designer Alvin Colt (Forbidden Broadway, Guys and Dolls) has passed away at 92.

Posted: 5/5/08 at 3:45pmThat's sad news. He was a very nice man - very kind and generous. He once hosted me, my costume designer and my Adelaide when I was directing a production of GUYS AND DOLLS, and talked about the show and his experiences designing the original production. He showed us his sketches for the show - they were breathtaking.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
