Count me in... and I'll definitely be at the Laurie Beechman for her show.
She also makes a strong drink on Friday nights at After Party.

I hope to make it out; Alysha is fierce!
She is amazing. Check out 'that site' for awesome videos of her belting.
She did Coronet Man last week at the After Party (dedicated to her mom, I think), there is only one word I can think of to describe it - fierce!
I'll be there for her show on the 23rd too!
I caught After Party all four Friday nights I was in the city in June, but was nearly heartbroken when Alysha wasn't there the final night. And yes, I heard her do Coronet Man too -- WOW -- like everything she sings.
Wish I could see her show.

She's fierce no doubt. I have one question... Where is The After Party? I've seen so many videos from it but I have no clue where it is!
Alisha, Here's "The After Party" info: http://www.westbankcafe.com/theater/schedule.
Every Friday at 10:30 pm at the West Bank Cafe.
Here's Alysha belting the s**t out of Cornet Man.
The gurl can SANG!
Cornet Man
You can ignore the 10:30 time, however. Doors open then, but it officially starts at 11, and for the four weeks in June it never started before 11:15. There were also still seats and even whole tables available when it started at 11:15. The hard part is deciding to leave. It's so easy to keep saying to yourself, "OK, I'll leave after the next number", but you never know what's coming up. I've made it to 2:30 by propping my eyes open with toothpicks, but I don't know when it actually ends.

Her show last night was, quite frankly, an incredible night of jazz vocals. She is probably the best jazz vocalist in NYC, and her concert proved it. Anyone else who was there, I'm sure, would say the same thing. Simply remarkable.
She's great!
But what's her musical theatre background?
She was the female swing in "Make Me a Song" (the William Finn review off-Broadway.
She went to the Boston Conservatory with Nick Adams :)
