She deffinetly could pull it off. I bet she can dance, acting shes got down, Singing, she is probally more of a character singer. I mean there have been many occassions in the Hairspray timeline where they have had people we could not see in the role and they pulled it off!

I think she'd be an incredible Amber. According to her bio on IMDB's website, she has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. It also mentioned that she starred in the Off-Broadway musical, "1001 Nights."

Cauffiel is a trained singer, and has studied for over 14 years in the Western Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Blues, and Eastern Devotional vocal mediums. She and renowned Bollywood percussionist and composer Sivamani, with whom she is currently writing an album, performed live in Dharamsala, India for the 14th Dalai Lama and approximately 20,000 other monks and visitors from around the world, on the occasion of the March 10th, 2004 anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day. She also sang on the World Music Grammy finalist album, "Shanti", by Snatam Kaur.

I could see it, but if she's a great singer, maybe she could be more of a Penny? Amber doesn't really require an amazing singer.
