Who longs for shows like MY ONE AND ONLY, SOPHISTICATED LADIES, BOB FOSSE'S DANCIN', CRAXY FOR YOU and JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY to return to the great white way?
I'm not saying revivals of those (however I would be thrilled) but shows of that caliber, that are structured so well and so entertaining with innovative ideas and styling with amazingly talented actors, singers and dancers.
I second the idea of "Jerome Robbins' Broadway" or at least a CD Re-issue. Or what about "The Apple Tree" (sans Paris Hilton), or "Lady in the Dark"?

No, you aren't the only one...the lack of great dancing in musicals is depressing. This is why I salivated over White Christmas in 04 and 05...it had the big splashy tap dance numbers, as well as the partner dancing, that has been lacking in shows lately.
BTW...is there a more correct term than "partner dancing" to describe two people dancing as Astaire and Rogers did?
