I wonder if they'll use the nun outfit on her.

I don't think so. Film costumes tend to differ from stage costumes. Just look at the Phantom film

I just hope that her wedding dress isn't white.

That actually might be her wedding dress she's wearing there, since they were filming Valjean's death scene the other night.

I hope it isn't white as well, because white wedding dresses didn't come into fashion until later in the 19th century. Before then there was no one traditional color, and Cosette's wedding gown in the stage show shouldn't be white.

They also shouldn't be wearing giant hoop skirts in 1832 for the wedding ball, but that's another issue!

sigh, I so wish she was around to play Christine in that mess of a Phantom movie, maybe then I would be able to listen to the CD a bit more, I loved her voice in MM.

Really? I didn't think her voice was that special. I can't magine her singing Cosette's high soprano stuff.

In my opinion, Amanda was the best thing about Mamma Mia! aside from the songs and scenery.

She doesn't have a bad voice, but none of the vocal performances that I've heard from her so far tell me that she would've been any better than Rossum in POTO.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Same here. She's already said that she struggles with Cosette's vocal part because of the more-operatic soprano style the character requires.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

Vocally I think the Emmy Rossum was far more suited for Christine than Amanda is for Cosette...

However, her songs in "Mama Mia" were pretty easy and not too rangy...so who know what she is capable of.

That said, I'm sure that the keys will be lowered in just about everything...and the final notes in songs that Cosette sings that are typically high will be lowered.
