OMG - a "people's choice" award based on snippets of a theatrical performance?

This has to be one of the stupidest ideas - the brain child of a brainless person.

Hmm, not a fan. Way to "reality TV" for me. It doesn't seem fair at all to judge an entire show (especially lighting, scenery, direction...) based on a singular snipit of a performance.
