I turned on Fox to see Scott singing poorly and I was like, SCORE! HE'S FINALLY GOTTEN THE BOOT! only to find out that he was only in the bottom 3 and Nadia, who was MILES better than he was, got kicked off. I'm very mad with my country right now.
lol. it's coz people aren't voting!!! and i think if Nadia picked a different song, then she'd still be on. she's so amazing and i was sad to see her go. But I was sooo glad that Bo and Constantine are still one. Love them!!
Hate to say it, but Simon was right . . . if Nadia would have sung "her favorite" song this week (the one she did last night) not only would she NOT have gone home, but she wouldn't have been in the bottom 3. She sang this week's song beautifully, but probably no one had ever heard of the song before. It wasn't a great song, so she didn't get votes. Scott, however, has been consistently BAD. He's GOT to go.
"When I Dream" by Crystal Gale is one of my favorite songs. I was shocked, because I didn't even know it was that song until after her performance, and her telling the judges who sang it. It was completely unrecognizable, and disappointing. But, she made a great statement about always staying true to herself, and that deserves respect. Not my fave in the group, but her personality is very winning. I'm probably the only one who is tired of Constantine trying to look sexy. He really urks me. I want him to go next.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
Ok true during his performance he is trying too hard sometimes (not last night thougH) but...
Last night he was really really hot
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
It was certainly not the weakest singer who got booted last night. Nadia's most recent performance was unmemorable, but she was great the week before. It is certainly absurd that Nadia is gone and the rather dreadful sounding morose looking chubby guy is still there along with the crooner Clay Aikenish guy. It is pretty surprising that both these guys are still on the show. CONSTANTINE has been amazing the last two weeks. He is the one to beat. he is AMAZING.
"Blow out the candles Robert and make a wish. Want something, want SOMETHING."
Ugh..I boycotted that show for the last few years, saying it wasnt an accurate portrayal of good singers...and then saw Nadia perform on her earlier shows..and THAT started me watching it..Seriously..Scott needs to GO. Even Anthony, who I liked alot in the beginning should have gone first. Nadia had the best stage presence of them all.
I would gave Nadia two moire weeks, cause I kick Scott and anthony first in that order, Scotg because he so damn egotistical, epsecially after Tuesday remark saying that out of him.o, and Constantine hes the real rocker, plus scotty the body, give me a break, who gives seacrest these corny things to say. Get Scott gone now!!!
