The more I think about this event, the more I realize that Raul's performance seemed intense/happy rather than intense/troubled. He needs to do an occasional vacation from the likes of Pinter and Mamet!

Well, this material, as he explained, is so much a part of who he is. It obviously means a lot to him, and he was clearly very proud and thrilled to be doing it. Why should there have be any of the "troubled intensity" that he brings when he's playing, to be blunt, rather f*cked up characters?
