Colin Bates appears to be (from what I have ehard when he speaks) an American. THe accents in BILLY are so integral to the plot that the souvenier program has a glossary! Just wondering how Colin does with the accents? hasanyone seen him in the role? Could he be the ONE that plays the role on Boradway?

Learn how to spell. Colin Bates had the best accent out of any of the Billys I have seen because he was the only one who came to learn the accent without having a british accent. The rest all had British accents so their accents were kind of a mix (but they were still damn good). I saw him in the role and he was great. He won't play it on Broadway because he will be to old by the time it arrives. The role of Billy calls for a very hard age group, and the kids can only play the role for a small amount of time (longest is a year)

I've always thought that's quite sad, really. =/

It took me a second to figure out what you were talking about.
