I just realized this is the first post I ever started yay!!!
Does anyone know anything about this play. I saw it at the American Airlines theatre with Kevin Bacon and it envoked feelings in me that I never thought I had!
I always considered myself more of a musical type person but this and Normal Heart are top on my list of favorite shows.
Anyhow I bought a book with Normal Heart and The Destiny of Me and love reading it over and over again, is it the norm for there to be a book of plays and does anyone know if there is a way to read An Almost Holy Picture?
Did anyone else see it?
I saw it and thought it was really incredible. It wasn't the type of play that would appeal to everyone, but the ones it 'touched' thought it was wonderful. (Maybe you had to have a child in your life who was growing up with a handicap?)
I'm afraid I don't know anything additional about the play.

I, too, saw the play and was greatly impressed by it.
If you'd like a reading copy of it, try the Drama Book Shop or Applause Books (near Lincoln Center). They might have acting copies for sale.
