This is a little random, but Broadway Anastasia fans might be interested to know about recent a German musical on a very similar theme, which I happened across online. If I knew German, I could tell you more, but if you run this review (http://www.hamburger-wochenblatt.de/wandsbek/kultur/musical-anastasia-in-bremen-erfolgreich-aufgefuehrt-d42025.html) through Google Translate, it provides an overview of the plot. Interesting to see how much this seems to resemble / not resemble the Broadway version (and, of course, actual history). I'm not sure what calibre this company/production is considered to be locally (Bremer Musical Company in Bremen).
