My conservatory group is doing this musical, i know the music but i dont know much about the show itself, although i know its a review of Kander and Ebb shows.
Also what r the other songs that arent on the cast recording!

I think that all of the songs are on the recording. It is a great show if you have 5 dynamite performers. I am a big Kander and Ebb fan anyway. Saw it opening night off-Broadway and it was a smash! You will love it if you like Kander and Ebb.

WRONG! - There are several songs not on the cast recording - I think mostly because they are dance oriented and wouldn't really make much sense without the visuals. The descriptions below ae based on thwe original Susan Stroman choreography - this was the show that first made her famous as "Queen of prop choreography."
"YES" - follows the opening song, and brings out the rst of the cast.
"ME AND MY BABY" - full cast - they come out with baskets, singing as if there are babies in the baskets - they pull back the blankets and reveal - banjos! They all play banjos on the final chorus.
"THE RINK" - big Act 1 Finale with everyone on roller skates - tap dancing even!
"WHEN IT ALL COMES TRUE" PAS DE DEUX - this follows the Marry Me"/"Quiet Thing" sequence and is a long dance duet using snips of different songs including "Cell Block Tango", "Married" and others. As originally performed by Karen Ziemba and Jim Walton, it stopped the show. Abso-freakin'-lutely amazing!
After the huge audience response to this number, the music starts up again. The two dancers, totally exhausted, try to dancwe some more, but collapse, which leads into:
"PAIN" - a specially written number about how painful and exhausting it is to be a dancer - done by the whole cast - on crutches!
"RING THEM BELLS" - specialy number originally written for Liza Minnelli - mostly a female solo but with some back up by the others.
