Charnin Directs Thrill Me, Musical About Leopold & Loeb Murders, July 16-Aug. 3 in NYC
Thrill Me, the musical about the Leopold and Loeb murders in the 1920s, gets its world premiere in a New York showcase staging directed by Martin Charnin, in the Midtown International Theatre Festival July 16-Aug. 3.
The 90-minute musical has book, music and lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff, the young writer who is developing the musical about Jesse Ventura, the wrestler-turned-Minnesota-governor.

Posted: 6/24/03 at 1:59pmoh I don't know, the film title for one treatment of that case (SWOON) sounds like a musical theatre title. But it also sounds like a Sondheim show, and no one can do Sondheim like Sondheim. Is the Ventura musical supposed to be a parody?
