I remember when this aired. It was impossible to every take "Evita" seriously again. Wonderful satire and all the nice little touches. Slim Whitman for the grating Mandy Patinkin and the way Indura runs to center stage and humbles herself for the curtain calls.

Just classic.

It seems hard to believe that it was so many years ago that this aired.

I sent a friend of mine a clip of Andrea Martin as Barbra Streisand and my friend (who's only 27) had never heard of SCTV!
