Andrew Lippa’s “A Little Princess” Broadway?

For some reason “Live out Loud” has been stuck in my head these last couple of days and it got me wondering, how would this be received if it went to broadway? I know it was broadway bound in like 2004, but what happend?

There was a one night performance in london earlier this year, and it got some good reviews.

in my opinion, i feel like the “rebellious and whimsical child” has been played out a little bit in the last few years. matilda and billy elliot covered these stories really nicely and i think the musical should wait a little bit so they can really get that punch. cause i showed the story to my friends who had no idea what it was and the first thing out of their mouths was about how similar it is to matilda
