I just came across an hour long interview with Andrew Lloyd Webber. I thought I'd post the link in case anyone would be interested. It's interesting to hear his insights into things, for example, which new Broadway musical he highly recommends.
Enjoy!
P.S. - I should warn you that to hear the interview, you will need to listen to two short promos, the first about 20 seconds, the second about 40.

Audience member: I have a question, Andrew
Interviewer: (jokingly) That's Lord Lloyd Webber to you
ALW: Actually, the name's Sondheim
Classic. Stephen apparently rocks his world as much as he does mine.

Thanks.
It was a great interview - Andrew was very generous with his comments and anecdotal recollections.
Re Catherine Zeta Jones - so, they really wanted her in the role of the older Jenny, not that of Rose
He says the direction of his new projects would most likely be similar to something like the scale of Aspects of Love ( which I like best of all his musical scores).
Also, quoting Rodgers and Hammerstein ( whom he met early on) he makes a good point that one cannot really pass judgment on a musical score on the first hearing. I know that THE WOMAN IN WHITE has grown in its appeal to me after several hearings of the score.
He does like Adam Guettel and Piazza!
