Has Angela Lansbury left LA and moved back to New York? Does she have plans to do another show? Maybe a musical?

didn't Ms. Lansbury announce that she had no further plans for a future role on Broadway, due to her age, and that Deuce would be her last official "role" on broadway?

I believe she gave an interview after Deuce had opened in which she stated she wouldn't be doing any more Broadway because the demands of 8 performances a week had become unfeasible for her. I'd like to think I'm wrong, but I don't think she would have gone public with that statement. Yes, she did say she had moved(or was moving to) to NYC, however, and was loving it. I suspect she'll continue to make one-night only appearances -- she's still a very vital woman.

She has moved back to NYC and lives in my neighborhood. Last year's DEUCE wore her out, but she still wants to do something sometime. She's even thought about a nightclub act ALA Stritch, but nothing is definite.

I met her recently. I did not realize she was so tall.

She's still got it.
