Anika Noni Rose Cast As "Lorrell" in 'Dreamgirls' Flick? — Page 2

hello all...I had the pleasure of meeting anika last week @ Westerly on 8th ave and I was like haaaaaay gurl and she was so nice yet suprised i recognized her. She was a tad embarrassed that I caught her after the gym. anyway i asked her about the wiz and she says she doesnt know but keep your fingers crossed and i asked about dreamgirls and she immediately smiled and said she is not @ liberty to say whether or not she will play the role of lorrell bu the way she said i think she landeed it you guys....im just passing on info but she was soo cute and adorable and i hope you all get the chance to meet her...im a big fan! p.s westerly seems to be the place to meet broadway people b/c i see them there everytime i go in randomly...the week before that i met frenchie although she wasnt inside westerly but walking in front of it lol...later
