Do you know what is even more annoying than people re-posting, or staring threads that have already been started? Having people go and point out that the thread has already been posted and giving links...about fifteen seconds later.

I really don't like it when people are mean to other people on this board..... yeah it does get annoying sometimes when people re-post things but it's no reason to jump all over them. And I think that we should let people like Rent or Wicked without flipping out....just a thought.

I hate this too, as I hate all mean aholes on here.

But the thing about the search feature is, so much of what we discuss here is opinion, so it is fine to re-post in my eyes because different people are on here all the time.
So the same post could get a whole different response on a different day or time.

so save the link to the other post, maybe they want some new blood on the topic.

Just to comment on the search feature-

Many, many, many thread titles are misspelled. There could be a ton about, for example, "Shoshana's Last Day in Wikced" which would not come up when I typed in "Wicked" as it should be.

I know I have seen threads about, another example, "standing room for Spamelot". If I type in Spamalot, I won't get any hits.

Just pointing out an issue with the search feature, which also stems from people's inability to spell correctly in the first place.
