Another Cadillac Palace question

Over which rows in the orchestra section does the overhang from the dress circle protrude? Also, given the choice among orchestra rows R or S, dress circle row A or loge row B (all in the center), which would be the best? I'm specifically interested in the Patti/Mandy show.

By R and S on the main floor center, the overhang will be directly over you. And depending on the production, it creates a dead sound zone. I rushed In the Heights, sat there, and was disappointed in the sound, but that could have just been the tour's fault. Dress Circle is nothing but overhang: I don't recommend sitting there. Loge is always a good spot 'cause it's the 3-4 rows in front of the balcony, so you're gonna get a GREAT view with (hopefully) GREAT sound. Hope you have fun at Patti and Mandy!

I would suggest the Loge. MY friend and I are also going to see Patti and Mandy. And we figured since it's just gonna be a concert and there won't really be that much to look at on stage that blowing a ton of money on this wouldn't really be worth it. So, we're sitting in row D of the Balc.

I also was frustrated with the sound when I rushed In the Heights. I've heard that they had sound problems on many stops of the tour though, so I do think it's the tour's fault.

Another Cadillac Palace question

Thanks, everyone.

So I happened to go to the Broadway in Chicago box office at the theatre formerly known as Schubert (is that the "Bank of America" Theatre now?) and found a slightly better location on the main floor, so I ended up with Row M on the right about three seats in from the aisle. Not bad! Moral of the story: Never trust Ticketmaster. Their version of "best available" often is totally screwy.

It appears to me that Ticketmaster fills up all the center section seats before moving to the sides, so they'll often offer row q in the center before row b on the right. I'd much rather be closer and a little off to the side than way in the back, but I guess a computer can't figure that out.
