Elphaba now has a mate!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Kind of scary, but I guess that's the point. This show just looks boring to me.

Patrick Page is married to Paige Davis? I wonder why she didn't assume his surname...

I like the costume in general, But I don't like the read surrounding the yellow. The cuteness of the Grinch has died. re: Another GREEN-face on Broadway: more photos of THE GRINCH

I am happy, supposedly Max is not cut out (He's the best part!) and he tells the story too! YAY FOR MAX!

I also can't wait to see Patrick Page, I have really wanted to see him in something!

I still cant get over the Paige Page thing. Hah!

Max is actually two roles. "Old Max", played by John Cullum, is the narrator, and there is a "Young Max" who does all the physical stuff - pulling the sleigh, etc.

If John Cullum were forty years younger, I'd totally do him.
