Hey all! I go by TheaterGirl62 or TG for short.
Quickly, i'm a teen in high school not too far from our beloved NYC. Theatre is what I live on. I'm in a local company (which is now in rehearsals for 'Into the Woods,' opening 11/15... very exciting.. i'm Little Red) that puts on 2-3 shows a year... Hm. I love to act, dance, sing, etc.
This place looks cool, so I thought i'd get in on the action. Hope that's okay with you all. :)

With all the recent arrivals, I think we need to have an offical BroadwayWorld.com Welcome Wagon. You know, one of thos ecommittees they used to have in suburban America back in the 50's and 60's.
Will someone volunteer to put on a navy blue skirt suit with pearls and deliver a basket of home made goodies and claening supplies to every new member?

Oh, and a word of advice, don't promote your show TOO much, people might think you are Stephen Sondheim!

Welcome & Congrats. on Into the Woods, sweetie! You'll find "most" of the people here are fun lovin' and kind. Just a few big bad wolves. No worries, Suellen & Sheekala, (what -happened-to the-hunks?) will crack the whip, if they try to gobble you up!

Welcome... We are a crazy lot. Winners. Losers. Happy. Crabby. Gay. Straight. And everything else in between. We love everyone and hate them all too. Just enjoy the ride and if anything else you will get an education on how to debate and how not to debate!

Wish I'd had a place like this when I was in high school. But kabitzin' on ham radios about the The-a-tur woulda' probably gotten me reported to Joe McCarthy.
