Another reason to make a new recording of Woman in White- Page 2

I have just seen the show on Broadway 3 times ( I also saw it in London) and I join the voices for a Broadway cast recording!

The show is tighter and the musical score has followed suit. I also think the production must have the most powerful singing cast on Broadway at present. It would be such a pity if the opportunity to record the show is missed.

If Miss Saigon was not rerecorded , especially with song deletions & additions & ran as long as it did , I doubt WIW will be recorded

You are dead on "Michael, Adam and Maria are just outstanding....i also heard that Lisa Brescia is amazing as Marian". I have seen Lisa twice now and she is amazing. Very different though. What is really interesting to watch is how the rest of the cast adjusts to her. I almost perfer her scenes with certain actors. She and Adam have a completely different relationship. Because she is younger then Maria it makes it seem more likely that Walter would decide to be with her in the end. Although I still think that's a stupid plot twist! When I first saw the show in previews I was like WHAT? He can't be serious? But I think i've warmed up to it after seeing it 5 times. BTW: If you go on a slow night they will let you move to a better seat. Some performances are even stronger up close. Micheal Ball is even funnier. I wish I had seen Patience. I really got into Angela Christian more and "Evermore without you" was painful to watch...in a good way. It really breaks your heart to watch the pain he's in. ( I gotta get "The likes of us" CD)
I love this show more and more every time I see it. I hope Maria comes back healthy.
