I'm looking for a relatively priced show to see with a good view for my birthday. The show choices are Les Mis, Matilda, kinky boots, Waitress. Which shows have cheap tickets for good views?

Waitress is sold out almost every night, and tickets go at face value of $150+. Anything reasonably priced has likely already been sold. Any of your other choices offer fine seats for less than $100 each with minimal advance purchases, and all of them offer good rush tickets too. The most important thing that will dictate your price for a "good seat" is how far in advance you buy, or what you define is "good enough". If you want a centre seat in the theatre that isn't balcony or the rear mezzanine, you will need to shell out $140+ for your ticket. Below are some link to discount codes for top tickets at Matilda and Waitress:

Waitress: (Harder to find available seats): http://www.playbill.com/discount/waitress
One last thing; I'm not sure when your birthday is, but Les Miserables closes after labour day, and won't be playing anymore. I hope this helps - and Happy Birthday!

What's your ideal price? Another thing to consider, Matilda is in a huge theater, compared to Kinky Boots. The Shubert balcony is OK, but there's not really a bad seat in the Hirschfeld, IMO

The balcony at the Shubert for Matilda offers a great view - just try to stay in the center section. There really is not a bad seat in the Hirschfeld. As for Les Miserables, the front mezzanine in the center offers a great view, but I would highly suggest picking a different show other than Les Miserables. For Waitress, the rear mezzanine is fine (if you can get tickets).

That's a good view, but that seems like a high price for the rear mezz? You sure it's not the mid mezz at that price?
