Posted: 8/20/09 at 10:33pmI have read the book and it is my favorite book i have read. It has so much emotion and is quite entertaining and a tad dark. I want to see the show maybe he will come to my town and preform it.

It's basically a condensed version of the memoir adapted for the stage, performed by Anthony and a band. There's music from Rent and Anthony's solo album, in addition to some other songs he's written. I saw an older incarnation and I don't know how much it's changed if at all since, but it's quite powerful.
