I know he is currently in the tour. Does anyone know how long he is staying with the company? I want to see him in February, but the rumor mill says hes leaving, possibly, before then.

I emailed him on this same question, and he said his contract goes only until the end of this year. I hope he gets it extended because I'd love to see him in Houston.

And yes, hope and pray that you get to see Anthony Rapp in LSoH, because he was AWESOME in Dallas a while ago. I'd love to see him in other roles though. Yeah Anthony said that he's only contracted til the end of the year and he's not sure after that. I wish he'd stay...It doesn't come to my area til July, so even if He does stay, I doubt he'll stay that long *sighs*

I'm beginning to think I'm not meant to see him live...

Oh don't you worry Anthony is far from being burnt out. He will be back in something in a matter of weeks. He'll be around for while.. there will be other chances

I've never gotten to see Anthony in anything live, and I'd like to meet him. I hear hes VERY sweet. Ive been a big fan for awhile so when I heard he was in a touring comany of Little shop, I thought, Hey. There is my chance.

So I hope the chance is still plausable!

He is WONDERFUL at the stage door. So sweet and polite. He is increadibly shy in person even though onstage he is so loud, expressive, and outgoing. If you do get to meet him, don't fawn over him, I could tell by the way he was reacting to some girls who came to meet him that he was extremely uncomfortable. He is so adorable though. I swear if I didn't have any respect for people's space I would've hugged him.

No I dont usually fawn...at least I dont think. I was going to ask if I could hug him, but not in an "OMIGOSHYOUREANTHONYRAPPILOVEYOUCANIMARRYYOU" sort of way. And I wouldn't come right out before anything else and say "HugMe."

*ahem*

I can totally see him being shy though. I never saw him as a very outrageously flamboyant personality, which is why I think I adore him so much. I like the shy ones. It makes me feel better because Im usually the one who is shy and scared to death of meeting people lol.

Don't scare him like I did if you meet him at the stage door. He's not the type of celebrity who handles the star struck well.

Cross your fingers and hope he extends because he's phenomenal.

I saw the show in LA and, honestly, I thought he was the weakest of the principals. He handles the role vocally but he really can't do the nerd thing without mugging. He's just not a great fit as Seymour. Tari Kelly, on the other hand was a sensational Audrey and Lenny Wolpe was a terrific Mushnik.

The entire cast makes Little Shop a wonderful road show. It is one of the best touring ensembles around. I saw it in Dallas and LA and it was very well received. The reviews from the major papers were raves and the audiences responded very well.

I was watching "Dazed and Confused" the other day mand Anthony plays a big nerd in that movie...and he was excellent, so I can't wait to see him in Little Shop!

Viva, I wasn't really expecting him to be that shy. I thought he'd be one of those talkative "I love my fan" type guys like Andy Meeks or God.

He was overwhelmed because I was so intent on getting a picture and autograph and when he took the picture with Alex and I I said "that's gonna be one pretty picture" and he gave me a fake laugh. Then I said "oh, I brought a friend of yours to the show" and I showed him the picture of me with God and again he gave me a fake laugh.

Im an overwhelming fan, what can I say.

He's very modest and seems really unsure of how to respond to the obsessive fans. He's so cute though! (especially when he blushes). We got into an extensive conversation about the upcoming Rent movie etc... He is by far one of the nicest guys I have met at a stage door. He definately has talent, there is such a transformation on stage! I would NEVER think that he could be so shy in person judging from how he acts on stage.
