Could anyone tell me when/where/for how long Anthony Rapp played Seymour? Also: if you happened to know who played Audrey & Mr. Mushnik with him?

All I know is that he left the tour for the filming of the RENT movie. And I *think* he started in '98, but don't hold me to that.

According to my program insert (from sometime last year) Tari Kelly (www.TariKelly.com) played Audrey, and Lenny Wolpe played Mushnick. Both (as far as I know) are still with the tour (if it's even still running).

Anthony started what in '98? He was with the tour from August-December 2004.

you are 100% right. i just visited her website and all the info is there, including pictures. i still can't believe anthony played seymour. i would have given anything to have seen him.

(according to imdb.com, he was touring through 2004 on the national tour of lsoh, up until filming for rent started)

Nope, Tari left the tour on 11/13 and Lenny left the tour a long time ago.

I had the privilege of seeing Anthony Rapp as Seymour in 2004, and he was simply stunning! I loved every minute of seeing him as Seymour on stage. And the Audrey was great too! I visited the tour when it was in San Deigo in December.

Audrey was played by Tari Kelly
Mushnik was played by Lenny Wolpe

I saw Anthony as Seymour in July at the SD stop on the tour, He was awesome and keep a lookout for Tari Kelly who played Audrey - she is going to be a big star someday. The cast all around was really good except for Oren, I thought he was miscast.

I LOVED his interpretation of Seymour. That is such a fun show to see. I keep kicking myself in the face, though, because I did not stage door.

i think he may beat hunter, as my favorite seymour. he was fantastic! i am such a huge anthony rapp fan, i think i would die if i met him. has anyone else met him? what's he like?

I don't get why people "can't believe that Anthony played Seymour". Why is that so hard to believe? Now if you said you can't believe he played Hedwig or Henry V, that would make more sense.

as soon as I saw this thread, I thought, wow, that would be a GREAT role for him. too bad I never got to see it. Le sigh. Would it be too much to hope that maybe they made a recording I could listen to?

He was an absolute riot and such a cute Seymore at the San Francisco stop (2004). Tari Kelley was top-notch too!

when i said "i can't believe anthony played seymour", i didn't mean it in a character match-up way. i simply meant i can't believe he played it and i didn't get to see him. he's a perfect seymour.

I saw him as Seymour last October in LA and he was amazing! The whole cast was amazing.
