Anthony Rapp in Eugene, Oregon

I figured I would let the Anthony Rapp fans and fanatics here know that tonight he did a VERY enjoyable reading/talk/book-signing here in Eugene, Oregon. He read a moving and funny selection from WITHOUT YOU about Jonathan Larson, he fielded all sorts of questions from the audience with unflappable good humor (his story about performing at age 10 with Yul Brynner in THE KING AND I is a classic), and then he very patiently signed books, posed for photos, etc.

Lots of actors are less than comfortable in this sort of unscripted event, but he definitely made it a fun evening; it was so great that he would include a small city like Eugene (140,000 people not counting University of Oregon students) along with places like Las Vegas and San Francisco on this book tour.
