Hey all!

I just heard a rumor that Anthony Rapp will be playing Mark in RENT again in a series of productions in Chicago starting in October.

Is this true?

Ah...RUMORS are wonderful things. Where did you hear this? I can't imagine him playing that role onstage again.

'A series of productions in Chicago'? As in a new tour or a new sitdown production? Very unlikely. The only way you're likely to see Anthony on a Rent stage again is to go to the 10th Anniversary Concert on April 24 in NYC. Rumors like this are silly, especially when a source isn't named.

I heard this from someone who is claiming they were cast as Roger in this production. He says he's going to live with Anthony in Chicago for 8 months while performing at the Backstreet Theatre.

I didn't believe it either, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't alone.

I believe he has said before that he wouldn't return to it without the rest of the original cast. And I really couldn't see him living with the guy who's playing Roger, he'd get his own place.

Yeah, this guy (the one who claims to be playing Roger) that Anthony is "huge on chemistry" so he wants everyone to live together.

I didn't buy it either.

Um, that sounds like some delusioned fan. The tour is going to be in Chicago in April anyway, not October.
