Hi! I'm looking for Broadway songs that can be performed by 2 ladies and 1 man. We are Mezzo-soprano, Alto and Baritone. We are all strong singers making plans for a benefit cabaret. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I was so thinking the same thing... even though that's definitely not what they were looking for. re: Any Broadway songs for 2 ladies and a man?

I feel like a bad person for not remembering AIDA, but now that my mind's in gear... Not Me, as well.

Stephanie, you got the title right ("Together Wherever We Go"), but I'm just popping in and adding that it's from Gypsy :)

Step to Far from Aida

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

Both the Maltby and Shire revues, "Starting Here, Starting Now" and "Closer Than Ever" have lots of songs with that combination of voices. Also, there's "The Butterfly" from "Zorba" (Kander and Ebb).

"Two Ladies" from CABARET is 2 men and 1 lady...not 2 ladies

Actually I believe the original production of Cabaret used 2 woman and the emcee because as far as I can recall from photos and stuff there was no male in drag.

Ah, good point! Is it something they started doing with the movie?

no I think this time around for the revival they just wanted to change it up a bit and how do you make a show about sex even more risque? Throw a transvestite in the mix, that's how.

Isn't there a man in the movie, though...

The Sondheim revue "Side by Side by Sondheim" was performed by two women and one man in London (check the OLC). Some songs were arranged for all three voices, others were done as solos.
