I have loved Michael Hayden since I saw his Billy Bigelow in the 93 revival of Carousel. His "Soliloquy" on the London Cast Recording is one of the most phenomenally acted/sung recorded pieces of music I've ever heard.
I know is fall play has been cancelled for B'way. Anyone know what he's up to?
He's also another Under-represented Actors on the Net.
Oh yeah, and he's HOT.

My neighbor who works for WNET recently got me a copy of the Hammerstein tribute show that aired in 1995 and it has clips of him singing "If I loved you" (plus James Barbour singing "Soliloquy" and the revival cast of "Show Boat"). I now enjoy him whenever I want. He's a very nice man too --I was working in a store in NJ and he and his wife were shopping.

Even better was his brillant turn as Chance Wayne opposite ELizabeth Ashley's Princess in the Shakespeare Theatre's production of SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH. It is one of the best stage performances I've ever seen.
